QA TEST ENGINEER

Position Overview: The QA Test Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying software defects, and ensuring that our products meet functional and performance requirements. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality, has a strong understanding of testing methodologies, and is proactive in identifying areas for improvement throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests to ensure product quality and functionality.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage is aligned with product goals.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
• Perform regression testing, integration testing, performance testing, and security testing as needed.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices in software testing.
• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging issues across multiple platforms.
• Work closely with product managers and developers to provide feedback and improve the product.
• Continuously improve testing processes and tools.
• Maintain test environments and ensure testing tools and systems are up-to-date. • Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups as part of the Agile process.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a QA Test Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience using system monitoring tools and automated testing frameworks
• In depth understanding of coding languages
• Solid understanding of various operating systems and databases
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot issues quickly.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of industry related
professional experience and education
• Experience designing, developing, and delivering technology solutions
• Experience architecting complex, multi-system solutions
